year, and a long flower stalk with a white four-petaled flower in the second year. Plants flower early April into May, so look for them on your property! Leaves produce a distinct garlic mustard odor when crushed.

If you find garlic mustard, keep in mind:

-Small patches can be manually removed by hand-pulling or spraying

-Pulled materials will keep flowering and set seed, so be sure to bag everything for disposal

-Mowed plants will grow and set seed, so don't rely entirely on mowing to control it

-Document the site (location, photos, dates & treatment) and report to http://oregoninvasiveshotline.org/.
